Statement on Vaughan City Manager
Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua has issued the following statement.
“Today I informed Members of Council and staff at the City of Vaughan that City Manager Mr. Steve Kanellakos has accepted the position of City Manager for the City of Ottawa commencing on May 2, 2016. His last day with our city will be April 29, 2016.
On behalf of Council, the administration and the citizens of Vaughan, I want to express my sincerest gratitude for all that he has been able to accomplish over the past year. He has made a positive and meaningful contribution to our city.
I wish Steve and his family much success in all their future endeavours. The task of city-building continues in Vaughan and I am confident that we have a bright future to look forward to.”
