Apply for the Talent City program

The City of Vaughan is investing in local talent. Do you represent a non-profit community or social service organization? Are you interested in offering training programs for local residents or employees of Vaughan-based businesses looking to develop new skills? If so, apply to the Talent City Vaughan program!

Applications are now open and close on Wednesday, April 30. For more information about the program and to apply, visit vaughanbusiness.ca/TalentCityVaughan

With a broad scope of skill-development opportunities, the Talent City Vaughan program aims to strengthen the city’s workforce by encouraging organizations and employers to invest in local talent. The program offers financial support – micro-grants of up to $10,000 – to external organizations that provide opportunities for residents of Vaughan or employees of Vaughan-based businesses to enhance their skill sets. It is also designed to deliver training that meets the needs of the city’s growing economy.

In 2024, Talent City Vaughan disbursed funding to eight social and community service organizations that hosted training programs for more than 200 Vaughan residents and employees of Vaughan-based businesses.

Interested applicants are invited to attend a virtual program information session on Monday, April 14 from noon to 1 p.m. to learn more. Registration is required
