Coles to assume the role today
Mr.
Coles is a public servant with more than 20 years of experience in municipal government.
He currently holds the position of Deputy City Clerk for the City of Vaughan, where
his responsibilities include leading the Council-Committee Secretariat, providing
professional procedural and governance advice to the Mayor and Members of
Council and to City staff, facilitating interaction between members of the
public and Council, and overseeing Council's appointments process.

- Mr. Coles has an honours bachelor of environmental studies (urban and regional planning) degree from the University of Waterloo and a masters certificate in municipal leadership from Schulich School of Business, York University.
