WHAT:
The City of Vaughan will host a free special kickoff concert at Vaughan City Hall on June 11 featuring the Toronto All-Star Big Band, presented by TD and event sponsors CN, Direct Energy Home Services and Tim Hortons. Relive the spirit and style of the ’30s, ’40s and ’50s with the musical sounds of this dynamic 22-piece band.
Five additional free professional concerts are being staged in local parks throughout the summer. All concerts take place on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m., weather permitting.
