Vince Musacchio named Deputy City Manager of Infrastructure Development
Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua is pleased to announce that Vince Musacchio has been appointed as the City of Vaughan’s Deputy City Manager, Infrastructure Development, effective immediately.
Mr. Musacchio’s talents are not new to Vaughan – he has been a dedicated employee since 2010. He started out as Manager, Infrastructure Programming in 2010. Later, in 2018, Mr. Musacchio was appointed as Director, Infrastructure Planning and Corporate Asset Management. In this role, he oversaw the infrastructure plans during land-use planning and development to support the growth management strategy, third-party infrastructure planning projects and the corporate asset management vision. Mr. Musacchio’s planning and city design expertise has stretched wide across the Greater Toronto Area. Before joining the City of Vaughan, he was the Manager of Capital Projects in the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury and a Senior Project Engineer for the City of Toronto.
As Deputy City Manager, Mr. Musacchio will report directly to the City Manager and serve as a member of the corporation’s Senior Leadership Team – Executive. Mr. Musacchio will lead a significant city-building and forward-thinking portfolio comprised of several departments, each playing an important role in implementing the strategic priorities in the City’s 2018-2022 Term of Council Service Excellence Strategic Plan. Departments in the Infrastructure Development portfolio include Facility Management, Infrastructure Planning and Corporate Asset Management, Infrastructure Delivery, Parks Infrastructure Planning and Development, Program Management Office and Real Estate.
