Fire Hydrant Flow Test
Regular fire hydrant testing ensures the ability to provide water at an acceptable pressure and flow rate for firefighting operations. During a fire emergency, reliable sources of water can mean the difference between life and death. The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) outlines guidelines for fire hydrant testing.
Flow tests are often needed to help determine how to configure or upgrade a property’s private fire flow system. Developers and contractors can request a fire flow test.
