Background
The ATMP was originally released in 2008, updated in 2013 and updated again in 2018. As a joint project between Parks Infrastructure Planning and Development, Recreation Services and Vaughan Public Libraries, the ATMP defines how the City focuses its leisure resources and priorities to provide the most value to residents, while ensuring long-term sustainability.
Growing Together: Vaughan Community Spaces Plan
The Vaughan Community Spaces Plan (CSP) is the next version of the ATMP. As a joint project between Parks Infrastructure Planning and Development, Recreation Services and Vaughan Public Libraries, the CSP will provide strategies and recommendations for the next five years (2024-2029) and a long-range outlook for the next 10 to 25 years (2034-2051). The review will assess progress made on the ATMP and provide an update on current needs, trends and future facility provision strategies for indoor and outdoor facilities and libraries.
