Hosting An Event in Vaughan
 

The City of Vaughan is proud to host numerous events each year. It is our goal to enhance vitality, quality of life, and economic prosperity through preservation and recognition of Vaughan’s unique heritage while supporting diversity, arts and culture in a manner that is responsible, sustainable and promotes community safety, health and wellness.

We are committed to assisting you in executing a safe and successful event and have developed resources to help guide you through the planning and application process. To host an event in a City facility, on City property, or private property, you will need to meet specific requirements and obtain approval from the City.

Important: As part of the Special Events permit application process, if you plan on utilizing a City-owned facility, please ensure that the facility/venue and amenities has been booked and confirmed through Recreation Services at rec@vaughan.ca before submitting your Special Event Permit Application.

It is recommended that a Special Event application be submitted at least 15 days prior to the event in order to meet all applicable event-related timelines.
