Clark Avenue Cycle Tracks Timeline and Project Updates
Oct 2021 – Clark Avenue Cycle Track Survey received 159 responses to help inform upcoming cycle track projects
September 2021 – Official opening of cycle tracks included month-long bike safety education and outreach along Clark Ave in partnership with York Region Police Community Services and the launch of the 'How to use Vaughan's Cycle Tracks' video
August 2021 – Cycle Track pavement markings completed
December 2020 – Construction substantially completed
May 2020 – Construction began
April 2020 – The City of Vaughan received $1,138,287 from York Region which includes a combination of 80 per cent OMCC funding from the Region’s allotment and 20 per cent Regional contribution through the 2020 Pedestrian Cycling Partnership Program.
March 2020 – Detailed design completed

Jun 2019 – Detailed design of Clark Avenue pedestrian and accessibility improvements, cycle tracks, transit stops and intersection improvements, as well as road rehabilitation and resurfacing, began.
Dec 2017 – The City of Vaughan received $908,612.25 from the Province of Ontario through the Ontario Municipal Commuter Cycling (OMCC) Program.
