'Ask the Expert' Your Questions on the 2015 Budget
Do you have a question or comment about the City of Vaughan’s budget? If so, the City wants to hear from you.
One of the many ways you can get involved in the 2015 Budget and 2016-18 Plan process is by participating in a live Ask the Budget Expert session on Twitter on Jan. 27 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Questions can be sent to Vaughan’s Twitter and Facebook accounts and to budgeting@vaughan.ca or submitted to Access Vaughan at 905-832-2281 up to 24 hours before the event begins. Questions should include the Twitter hashtag #vaughanbudget2015.
During the session, City staff will answer the submitted questions and any others that come up. A list of questions and answers will be posted on vaughan.ca/budget after it is over.
The session will focus exclusively on the City’s 2015 budget. For more information, visit vaughan.ca/budget or contact corpcomm@vaughan.ca. Another session will be held in February.
Other opportunities to get involved in the budget include attending public meetings. The next one is Jan. 23 at 9:30 a.m. and it will focus on City services and programs. This meeting can be streamed live at vaughan.ca.
