Candlelight vigil for the victims of the condo shooting

The community and members of the media are invited to attend the City of Vaughan’s  candlelight vigil on Wednesday, Dec. 21 for the victims of the condo shootings that occurred in the area of Jane Street and Rutherford Road earlier this week.

Mayor Steven Del Duca and guests will provide remarks at 7:45 p.m. The candlelight vigil will take place at the courtyard at Vaughan City Hall (located at 2141 Major Mackenzie Dr.).

Attendees are asked to bring a candle. Parking at City Hall is limited. A shuttle will be provided from Maple Community Centre (located at 10190 Keele St.) to and from City Hall.
