Celebrating 25 years of Concerts in the Park

Honeymoon Suite launches concert series in the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre

The City of Vaughan’s award-winning annual Concerts in the Park series is back. This year is extra special as the City celebrates the 25th anniversary of offering free, professional entertainment for residents and visitors of all ages.

Come out for the launch concert featuring Honeymoon Suite on Wednesday, June 5 at Transit Square, 100 New Park Place, in the heart of the city’s emerging downtown – the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre. Part of New Park Place will be closed starting at 4 p.m. and free parking will be available after 6:30 p.m.
 
Five other concerts, staged in local parks across the city, will take place in June and July on select Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m., weather permitting. Free accessible parking, pathways and washrooms are available at each concert location.

  • June 5 – Honeymoon Suite (Launch Concert)
    Transit Square, Vaughan Metropolitan Centre, 100 New Park Place
  • June 19 – Matt Cage – A tribute to Elvis
    Sonoma Heights Community Park, 100 Sunset Ridge
  • June 26 – Neon Nostalgic – Retro Rock Revue
    Chancellor District Park, 430 Chancellor Dr.
  • July 10 – Simply Queen – A tribute to Queen
    Mackenzie Glen District Park, 220 Cranston Park Ave.
  • July 17 – Bennie and the Jets – A tribute to Elton John
    Outdoor Amphitheatre, North Thornhill Community Centre, 300 Pleasant Ridge Ave.
  • July 31 – Caverners – A tribute to The Beatles
    York Hill District Park, 501 Clark Ave. W.
