City of Vaughan 2011 Festive Season Closure
Vaughan City Hall and the Joint Operations Centre will be closed for the festive break from Friday, December 23 at noon to Monday, January 2, inclusive. Offices will reopen on Tuesday, January 3, 2012.
Enforcement Services, Cashier Services, Animal Services, libraries and community centres will maintain holiday customer service hours.
There are no changes to the City’s waste collection schedule during the festive season, including New Year’s Day. All acceptable waste should be placed out for collection according to regular collection days.
The deadline for filing statutory applications that would otherwise fall due during the festive closure period has been extended to Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 4:30 p.m. pursuant to the Legislative Act, 2006.
