City of Vaughan Civic Holiday Hours
August 2, 2013
Vaughan City Hall and the Joint Operations Centre will be closed on Aug. 5 for the Civic Holiday. Please take note of the following holiday hours of operation for other city-related services and facilities.
COMMUNITY CENTRES
All community centres will be closed on Aug. 5 and will reopen during regular hours on Aug. 6.
VAUGHAN PUBLIC LIBRARIES
Vaughan Public Libraries will be closed on Aug. 4 and Aug. 5 and will reopen during regular hours on Aug. 6.
VAUGHAN ANIMAL SERVICES
Vaughan Animal Services and the animal shelter will be closed on Aug. 5 and reopen during regular hours on Aug. 6.
SPLASH PADS
The following City splash pads will be open on Aug. 5 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Maple – Airport Park, Crieff Parkette, Mackenzie Glen District Park, Maple Lions Park and Melville Park.
- Concord/Thornhill – Concord Thornhill Regional Park, North Thornhill District Park, Dufferin District Park and Wade Gate Park.
- Woodbridge – Blue Coin Park, Chancellor District Park, Mapes Park, McClure Meadows Park, Father Ermanno Bulfon Park, Vaughan Mills Park, Sonoma Heights Community Park and Matthew Park.
SWIMMING POOLS
All City of Vaughan swimming pools will be closed on Aug. 5 with the exception of the Thornhill Outdoor Pool at 26 Old Yonge St., which will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
