City of Vaughan facilities closed for Thanksgiving

Whether
you are cooking the traditional turkey, going for something less conventional
or just focusing on spending time with family and friends, Thanksgiving is a
time to reflect on the people and things for which you are thankful.
As
you are making your plans, keep the City’s facility closures in mind:
- City of Vaughan municipal offices, including Vaughan City Hall and the Joint Operations Centre, will be closed for Thanksgiving on Monday, Oct. 9. Offices will reopen on Tuesday, Oct. 10.
- Vaughan Animal Services and community centres will be closed on Monday, Oct. 9.
- Vaughan Public Libraries will be closed on Sunday, Oct. 8 and Monday, Oct. 9.
- Waste collection will not be affected and will continue as regularly scheduled.
If
you are looking for something to do over the long weekend, why not spend some time
at a local park or sports
field? Enjoy the outdoors and warm weather while it lasts.
