City’s award-winning winter festival returns

International sensation Pinkfong & Baby Shark headlined the City of Vaughan’s annual Winterfest
Today, Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua and Members of Council joined the community for the 31st annual Vaughan Celebrates Winterfest event. The award-winning winter festival returned to Vellore Village Community Centre with family-friendly entertainment and attractions – including a headlining live performance from the international phenomenon Pinkfong & Baby Shark.
The day featured an outdoor stage with live entertainment, meet and greets with popular characters, midway rides and inflatables, horse-drawn wagon rides, a maple taffy station, indoor and outdoor interactive activities and an official welcome from Mayor Bevilacqua and Members of Council. Stage entertainment was hosted by YTV The ZONE’s Spencer and Duhin. The 2020 Winterfest event was presented by TD and the event sponsor was Tim Hortons.
Founded in 1990, Vaughan Celebrates Winterfest has grown to become a popular and much-anticipated City of Vaughan tradition.
