Family Day closures in Vaughan

Modified hours for
municipal facilities on Monday, Feb. 17
In advance
of the Family Day long weekend, the City of Vaughan is reminding residents of
the following facility closures, modified hours and alternate programming on Monday, Feb.

Municipal
facilities
Vaughan City Hall and the Joint Operations
Centre will be closed on Monday, Feb. 17 and will reopen on Tuesday, Feb. 18.
Community centres and recreational programming
The City’s community centres will be open on Family Day.
In addition to regularly scheduled recreation programs and
swim lessons, residents can enjoy free activities such as recreational skating,
sports and fitness classes, as well as access to games rooms and fitness
centres. Recreational swimming is also available for half price at all pools. Visit the Recreation

information.The Great Walks of Vaughan nature trails and
community walks are open to explore. Visit vaughan.ca/GreatWalks for
additional information, including maps, locations, distances, scavenger hunt
tools and more.
Vaughan Animal Services
Vaughan
Animal Services, located at 70 Tigi Ct., will be closed on Monday, Feb. 17 and
will reopen on Tuesday, Feb. 18. For more information, visit vaughan.ca/AnimalServices.
Vaughan Public Libraries
Maple Library, Pleasant Ridge Library and
Vellore Village Library will be open on Monday, Feb. 17 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
All other Vaughan Public Libraries’ locations are closed and will reopen on

Waste collection
Waste
collection will not be affected and will continue as regularly scheduled for

Access Vaughan
The City’s contact
centre will be closed on Monday, Feb. 17. However, a live agent will be
available to respond to municipal emergencies. For additional information about
holiday hours, City programs and municipal services over the holiday, call Access
Vaughan at 905-832-2281. Hours of operation are Monday
to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
