City’s free concert series kicks off on June 6

Rock, blues, disco and pop – we have it all this summer at the annual Concerts in the Park series. Bring your family, friends and neighbours for good fun and great tunes. This is the 24th year the City of Vaughan is providing free live performances for residents and visitors.

Join us for the first show at Vaughan City Hall on June 6. Five other concerts, staged in local parks across the city, will take place in June and July on select Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m., weather permitting.
 
Here is this year’s lineup:
 
  • June 6 – Neon Nostalgic | Vaughan City Hall, Courtyard, 2141 Major Mackenzie Dr.
  • June 20 – ABBA Revisited - Tribute to ABBA | Sonoma Heights Community Park, 100 Sunset Ridge
  • June 27 – Blackboard Blues Band | York Hill District Park, 501 Clark Ave. W.
  • July 11 – Glory Days - Tribute to Bruce Springsteen | Chancellor District Park, 430 Chancellor Dr.
  • July 18 – Simply the Best - Tribute to Tina Turner | Outdoor Amphitheatre, North Thornhill Community Centre, 300 Pleasant Ridge Ave.
  • July 25 – The Beach Bums - Tribute to The Beach Boys | Mackenzie Glen District Park, 220 Cranston Park Ave.
