Kick-start your year at the 2019 Vaughan Business Expo and Creative Industries Summit
Network, get inspired, share ideas and shape your creative city. The 2019 Vaughan Business Expo and Creative Industries Summit returns on Tuesday, Feb. 5, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Terrace Banquet Centre, 1680 Creditstone Rd. In its 17th year, the annual business tradeshow has evolved to include a Creative Industries Summit aimed at engaging local businesses to have their say in shaping the future of Vaughan’s creative industries.
Do you want
to network with Vaughan’s business community? The Expo is an opportunity to connect
with local businesses, build relationships, generate results and discuss bold new
ideas. Along with the exhibition, hear from keynote speaker Jess Joss,
Executive Director of York Angel Investors Inc., on how to meet with
prospective collaborators and effectively pitch your business.
Are you
interested in Vaughan’s creative industries? The first-annual Creative
Industries Summit will explore trends and launch discussions with industry stakeholders,
including the York Region Arts Council, Vaughan International Film Festival and
Artscape, to grow the city’s creative economy. The Summit’s collaborative
format includes a panel discussion, Q and A, interactive activities and more.
Supported
by the Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade as a Bridges to
Better Business Event, this one-day event hosts more than 300 local businesses
and stakeholders annually and facilitates peer-to-peer connections to strengthen
business models and generate growth.
