Create a User Profile on Vaughan.ca for a Chance to Win

​Website visitors who register an online profile on vaughan.ca will now be entered into a contest to win gift cards to popular Vaughan attractions. The contest runs May 15 to August 16, 2013, with two new winners chosen at random each month.

With a registered profile, users can choose what services matter to them most and customize the website homepage to reflect their personal interests. They can also subscribe to alerts and get automatic updates when new information is added to the website, including City news, events, recreation programs, registration deadlines and more.

The City’s new website, which launched earlier this year, includes a fresh look and feel, rotating homepage banners, service-based tiles for easy navigation, and a consistent layout throughout. User-friendly features and increased functionality include RSS feeds, social media links, and interactive maps highlighting community centres, parks, libraries and other municipal buildings. An improved search function also provides faster and more efficient access to municipal information.

Vaughan.ca improves accessibility through the use of easy-to-read fonts, large navigation icons, and the use of contrasting colours. Online services include recreation registration, animal licensing and parking permit applications.
