Celebrate
the season with December Break programs from Monday, Dec. 21 to Thursday, Dec. 31.
There are many holiday-themed activities to enjoy – children can create winter crafts, sing carols with Santa and ring in the New Year
doing confetti science experiments, while adults can bake healthy holiday
treats! Residents can also spend their holiday learning something
new, such as knitting, Zendoodle or magic, or stay active with indoor no-equipment workouts. Virtual December
Break programs run for 45 minutes to 1.5 hours.
Try
something different in the New Year with a fresh lineup of 2021 winter virtual programs
beginning on Monday, Jan. 4. Cook cultural
dishes, crochet a blanket, build a website or a robot. Act, dance and sing with
the City Playhouse Theatre crew. Release stress by doing yoga, karate or
boxercise. Learn to write speeches or compete in a family games night. Preschoolers
and individuals with special needs can also participate in educational programming.
Virtual winter programs run weekly for up to 10 weeks for 45 minutes to one
hour.
