​Apply to join a City committee or board by Jan. 30

At the beginning of each Term of Council, the City of Vaughan recruits members of the public to join a City committee or board that provides guidance to the Mayor and Members of Council. Recruitment for these members is now underway and the deadline to apply is Monday, Jan. 30.
 

What committees or boards are accepting applications?

Recruitment is underway for the following committees and boards:

  • Accessibility Advisory Committee
  • Committee of Adjustment
  • Heritage Vaughan      
  • Property Standards Committee
  • Tourism Vaughan Advisory Committee
  • Vaughan Public Library Board 

Are there eligibility requirements?

Each committee and board has its own eligibility requirements. You can review the requirements at vaughan.ca/council/committees. 

How do I apply?

Visit vaughan.ca/council/committees to find the online application form. The deadline to apply is Monday, Jan. 30 at 4:30 p.m.

What if I have questions or need more information?

The City is hosting an Open House where you can ask questions and learn more about the role of citizen members.
