Mark memories at a City of Vaughan park
You may have seen trees and benches with plaques in
some Vaughan parks – these are donated by residents to commemorate a loved one
or special occasion while creating a permanent and physical memory. The City of
Vaughan’s Tree and Bench
Dedication program
provides the opportunity for you to enhance your community park.
You can donate a tree with a plaque or a bench and pay tribute to an individual or occasion such as:
- Anniversaries
- Birthdays
- Celebrations of life
- Milestones
To
apply, please complete the appropriate application form below and submit it to
the Parks, Forestry and Horticulture Operations department at parks@vaughan.ca.
Applications are accepted year-round. However, installation is seasonal. For more information, visit the City’s Tree and Bench Dedication webpage.
This program contributes to the City’s commitment to Environmental Stewardship, a priority in the 2018-2022 Term of Council Service Excellence Strategic Plan.
