WHAT:
On Tuesday,
April 9, the City of Vaughan hosts its annual 2019 Volunteer Recognition Awards
to honour residents who are motivated by the spirit of generosity and have
dedicated their time for the benefit of others.
Every year since 2003,
in celebration of National Volunteer Week (April 7 to 13, 2019), not-for-profit
organizations and community groups in Vaughan are invited to nominate
individuals who make a commendable difference in the city – individuals who
give back, advocate for worthy causes, promote cultural events, protect the
environment and contribute to Vaughan’s vibrant civic life.
