Municipal offices closed April holiday weekend

City facilities operating on alternate schedules April 19 through April 22
Please be advised of
the following facility closures, alternate hours and change in programming for
the observance of Passover, Good Friday and the celebration of Easter:
Municipal facilities
City of Vaughan offices
at Vaughan City Hall and the Joint Operations Centre will be closed on Friday, April
19 and Monday, April 22. Municipal facilities will reopen on Tuesday, April 23.
Community centres and recreational programming
Vaughan community
centres will be closed on Friday, April 19 and Sunday, April 21. Recreation
programs and swimming lessons are cancelled on Friday, April 19 and Sunday,
April 21. Programs will run as regularly scheduled on Saturday, April 20 and
Monday, April 22. During Passover, all programs are cancelled at Dufferin
Clark, Garnet A. Williams, North Thornhill and Rosemount community centres after
4 p.m. on Friday, April 19 and on Saturday, April 20. To view holiday hours and

Vaughan Animal Services
Vaughan Animal Services,
including the Vaughan Animal Shelter located at 70 Tigi Ct., will be closed on Friday,
April 19, Sunday, April 21 and Monday, April 22. The shelter will be open on Saturday,

Vaughan Public Libraries
Public libraries in
Vaughan will be closed on Friday, April 19, Sunday, April 21 and Monday, April
22. Libraries will be open on Saturday, April 20 as per normal business hours.

Waste collection
Waste regularly
scheduled for pick up on Friday, April 19 will be moved by one day to Saturday,
April 20. Waste collection will not be affected on Monday, April 22. Learn more

The City’s contact
centre will be closed on Friday, April 19 and Monday, April 22. For additional information
about holiday hours, City programs and municipal services over the holiday
weekend, please call Access Vaughan at 905-832-2281. Hours
of operation are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
