Plenty of fun for the family at Winterfest
Meet your favourite characters from Paw Patrol to the Octonauts
For 28 years, Winterfest has been a tradition for families in the City of Vaughan. It’s a day to celebrate all of the great things that winter brings, and enjoy free activities and entertainment.
This
year’s event will be on Sunday, Feb. 12 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Vellore
Village Community Centre. It will feature special activities as well as a free
pancake breakfast, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., in honour of Canada’s 150th
birthday. An official welcome by Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua and Members of
Council will take place at 11:15 a.m. on the outdoor stage. This will mark the
official launch of Vaughan’s celebrations throughout this commemorative year.
