Red Cross Flag Raising Ceremony at City Hall

Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua and Members of Council were joined by representatives of the Red Cross at a flag raising ceremony to celebrate the City of Vaughan proclaiming March as Red Cross month.

The Red Cross has responded to emergencies in Vaughan and across the country. Their mandate is to raise public awareness as well as educate individuals and communities on emergency preparedness, first aid, CPR and humanitarian issues.
