March Break Activities At Vaughan Community Centres
Other family-friendly activities available for a nominal fee include recreational skating and shinny hockey, fitness classes, bocce, basketball, volleyball, badminton, soccer, bowling, table tennis and aquafitness. Games rooms, featuring entertainment such as Wii, Xbox, pool tables, foosball, air hockey and ping pong are open at varying times.
Parents and children can enjoy a day at the City Playhouse Theatre, which will feature the family musical Angelina Ballerina on March 10 to 11, and 13 to 18. Show times for this production, based on the animated series, Angelina Ballerina: The Next Steps as seen on Treehouse TV, vary between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. For ticket information, contact the City Playhouse box office at 905-882-SHOW (7469).
Special five-day registered camps for children include: Break March Up, AquaAdventures, March Madness, Teen Fitness Camp, Monkeynastix and Young Rembrants: African Safari Camp. Activities range from arts and crafts, games, drama, music, sports and swimming. These camps are held at select community centres across Vaughan with the optional extended day camp starting at 7:30 a.m. and ending at 6 p.m. Register online at RecEnrollVaughan.ca.
