You can become a master of filmmaking by creating your own blockbuster to enjoy on the big screen; experiment with pencil, pastels and paint or some sticky slime; up your strategy with a game of checkers or chess; build a robot and design LEGO models; act, sing and dance; or train to be a ninja or an athlete and add a dash of Disney-inspired magic to your workout – there is something fun for everyone!
A list of materials and supplies will be emailed to participants in advance. Assistance from a parent or guardian may be required. For details, view the Spring Recreation eGuide at vaughan.ca/recreation.
Coming soon: NEW virtual playdates delivered via Zoom, starting during the April break. Recreation Services will take some of the planning stress off you and help your kids get some much needed friend time. In-person April Break camps
Modified in-person April Break Adventures Camp will be based out of select Vaughan community centres for children ages six to 12. They will feature popular camp activities, including indoor and outdoor play (weather permitting), games, arts and crafts, and special themed days.
A Spring FUNtastic Camp featuring indoor and outdoor recreational activities will also be offered for individuals with different abilities and special needs. Registration is open now at vaughan.perfectmind.com.
