Site Dedication Ceremony for the Future Home of Vaughan Public Libraries New Resource Library

A special ceremony was held on Thursday, October 17 for the site dedication of the future home of Vaughan Public Libraries new resource library. The event took place on the northwest quadrant of the Civic Centre Campus which will be the location for Vaughan’s third resource library.

 
The resource library is part of phase two of the Vaughan Civic Centre Campus Master Plan and will be built to a minimum LEED Silver certification. The new library will include a number of features including a marketplace for books, magazines and multimedia, meeting and program rooms as well as areas for children and teens.
