Are you looking
for additional support to start or grow your business? The City of Vaughan’s
Vaughan Business and Entrepreneurship Centre (VBEC) is a one-stop-shop for new
and existing business owners – like you – to access the tools and resources needed
to start or grow in Vaughan.
Expert business advisors from the VBEC are available for in-person
consultations at Vaughan City Hall (located at 2141 Major Mackenzie Dr.),
Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. When you arrive for your
consultation, you will check in with one of the City’s customer service
representatives located on the main floor, who will notify the on-site business
advisor of your arrival.
You can also come for in-person consultations on a walk-in basis twice
a week at the following locations:
- North Thornhill Community Centre (located at 300 Pleasant Ridge Ave.) on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Rosemount Community Centre (located at 1000 New Westminster Dr.) on Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
There will be signage directing you to a business advisory station at each location.
In addition to business consultations, the VBEC provides a robust list of services for entrepreneurs, including:
- business planning support, including marketing strategies, financial forecast and cash flow, and general business development.
- information on the development process, regulations, zoning, licensing, permits, business registration and legal structure.
- end-to-end site selection support.
- connections to funding sources, financing and grants.
- connections to business professionals, organizations and resources from various levels of government.
- research and business intelligence support.
- business development and marketing support for tourism organizations.
- business workshops, seminars, events and networking opportunities.
