As you get ready to enjoy the weekend, remember there are many ways to beat the heat in Vaughan – plan to visit one of the City of Vaughan’s splashpads or the Thornhill Outdoor Pool!
Splashpads
All splashpad locations are open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., subject to weather and surface conditions. Please note, the splashpads at Crieff Parkette (45 Crieff Ave.) and Melville Park (201 Melville Ave.) are closed until further notice for repairs. But don’t worry! There are 18 other locations for you to enjoy.

Thornhill Outdoor Pool
The Thornhill Outdoor Pool, located at 26 Old Yonge St., is also open to cool off. There are designated times for recreational, length and parent and tot swims as well as aquafitness classes.
Pre-registration and pre-payment are recommended – you can schedule your timeslot at
vaughan.perfectmind.com. Limited spots will be available for walk-ins prior to the start of a recreational activity. The family changeroom remains closed for the season due to ongoing maintenance.
The Thornhill Outdoor Pool is cashless. Debit, credit or cheque are the only acceptable forms of payment. For schedules and fees, visit vaughan.ca/swim.
