Picnic season is calling!

Gazebo bookings are now available online

 

What better way to soak up the sunshine than with an outdoor picnic! So gather your family and friends – and your favourite picnic foods – and book a gazebo from the City of Vaughan! 

 

You can make an amenity reservation for the 2025 season online at vaughan.perfectmind.com, by calling the City at 905-832-2281 or emailing rec@vaughan.ca.  

 

There are five City-operated parks with gazebos available to reserve:

 

Note: Doctors McLean Park will be closed for construction beginning Tuesday, May 20 and will remain closed for the remainder of the 2025 season.

 

Bookings for Tuesday, April 15 to Saturday, Nov. 1 can be made up to 48 hours in advance of the desired booking date for a three- to nine-hour timeslot. The fee is $51.75 per hour for Vaughan residents and $57.50 per hour for non-residents (excluding tax) for the gazebo reservation, with an additional required insurance fee of $28.05. All bookings require a $300 security deposit that will be refunded in full after your event. 

To book online, follow these easy steps:

  • Log into vaughan.perfectmind.com
  • Click the ‘Facility Information’ tab, then ‘Online Facility Booking’
  • Click ‘Picnic Area’
  • Pick your desired park and click ‘Choose’
  • Select the duration of your reservation (between three to nine hours) and input the number of attendees
  • View the calendar to select your preferred date and time
  • Click ‘Reserve’ 
  • Review and agree to contract terms, enter payment and place your order  
  • A contract and receipt will be emailed to you  
     

All park bookings include exclusive use of a gazebo shelter and select picnic tables. All other park amenities, such as parking, playgrounds, water play areas, tennis and bocce courts, secondary shade structures and washrooms are open for public use. Park washrooms will be open beginning Thursday, May 1 (weather dependent). Alcohol and charcoal or solid-fueled portable barbecues are not permitted in City parks.
