There is still time to apply to join the City of Vaughan’s Transportation and Infrastructure Task Force and the Vaughan Public Library Board! Public recruitment is underway until Friday, April 9. Visit vaughan.ca/council/committees for details, including eligibility requirements, and to access online application packages.

Transportation and Infrastructure Task Force
- Mandate: To assist the City in finding new and innovative ways to make Vaughan’s transportation network more reliable, efficient and sustainable for future growth. This includes developing transportation priorities and identifying new revenue sources.

- Positions available: Up to three public members are currently being recruited.
- How to apply: Submit the Transportation and Infrastructure Task Force application package (PDF) by email to the Office of the City Clerk at clerks@vaughan.ca.
- Deadline: Applications will be accepted until Friday, April 9 at 4:30 p.m.
As a Council-appointed task force member, citizens can help advise and inform the Mayor and Members of Council on relevant matters impacting the city and other citizens.
Vaughan Public Library Board
- Mandate: To help shape the direction of Vaughan Public Libraries’ evolving systems, services and programs. This includes working closely with executive management, defining the library’s policy and growing local branch innovations.

- Positions available: Up to two public members are currently being recruited.
- How to apply: Submit the Vaughan Public Library Board application package (PDF) by email to the Office of the City Clerk at clerks@vaughan.ca.
- Deadline: Applications will be accepted until Friday, April 9 at 4:30 p.m.
By sitting on the Library Board, individuals can contribute to daily Vaughan Public Libraries’ services and policies.
