Vaughan Announces Cooling Centres in Response to Extreme Heat

HEAT ADVISORY HAS ENDED.

The City of Vaughan has extended hours of operations at a number of community centres and splash pads in response to the extreme heat.
 
Effective June 24, community centre hours have been extended to 11 p.m. at five facilities across the City. Community centres are air conditioned and are equipped with water fountains. Some splash pads will be open until 11 p.m.

City swimming pools are available during regular hours, with the exception of Maple Pool which is closed this week for annual maintenance. Thornhill Outdoor opens this Saturday, June 29. Click here for swim schedules.
