June 24, 2013

The City of Vaughan’s summer day camps for children and youth ages three to 17 start Tuesday, July 2. Parents are encouraged to register their children in their favourite camp before it is full as spaces are limited.

50 plus different indoor and outdoor camps
   one- and two-week sessions
   cross-city busing
extended day camp from 7:30 a.m. to as late as 6 p.m.
recreational swims, out trips, theme days, special events and performances
one-on-one support for children with special needs

All camp staff are 16 years or older, certified in Standard First Aid and CPR, subject to a police reference check and trained in High-Five Principles of Healthy Child Development as well as program planning, managing challenging behaviour and risk management.
