Vaughan celebrates Culture Days!
Members of the community joined Mayor Steven Del Duca and Members of Council to kick off Vaughan’s Culture Days with the Vaughan Food and Culture Festival on Saturday, Sept. 21 at Vaughan City Hall.
The event recognized and celebrated arts, culture and heritage. Festivities included greetings from Mayor Del Duca, food trucks and vendors, a flag-raising ceremony, entertainment – including music and dance performances, arts and cultural workshops– and so much more.
There are more than 70 events taking place across various locations in Vaughan until Sunday, Oct. 13.

“Culture Days is officially underway! On Saturday, Sept. 21, I was pleased to join residents of all ages at Vaughan City Hall for the Vaughan Food and Culture Festival. It was a wonderful event to celebrate the importance of supporting arts and culture – something our city has a long and proud history of doing. Thank you to everyone who came out and enjoyed an afternoon of family-friendly fun. The good news is, there is still time to experience more than 70 City-led and community Culture Days events that reflect the diverse traditions and customs of our residents. So bring your family and friends, and enjoy the spirit of Culture Days!”
