Vaughan Celebrates Milestone 20th Anniversary of Concerts in the Park

The City of Vaughan will host its 20th Concerts in the Park series this summer, presented by TD and event sponsors CN, Direct Energy Home Services and Tim Hortons. The free concert series begins on Wednesday, June 11 with a special anniversary kickoff concert at Vaughan City Hall, followed by five concerts being staged in local parks throughout the summer.
 
All concerts take place on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. in June, July and August, weather permitting.
 
Here is this summer’s lineup:
  • June 11 – Featuring the Toronto All-Star Big Band at Vaughan City Hall, outdoor courtyard, 2141 Major Mackenzie Dr., Maple

  • June 18 – Featuring That 60’s Show at York Hill District Park, 501 Clark Ave., Thornhill

  • July 9 – Featuring Synsonic at the North Thornhill Community Centre outdoor amphitheatre, 300 Pleasant Ridge Ave., Thornhill

  • July 23 – Featuring Tim E & The Yes Men at Chancellor District Park, 430 Chancellor Dr., Woodbridge

  • July 30 – Featuring Sugar Heat at Sonoma Heights Community Park, 100 Sunset Ridge, Woodbridge

  • Aug. 6 – Featuring Motown Mania at Mackenzie Glen District Park, 220 Cranston Park Ave., Maple
