Vaughan Fire Station 7-10 Showcased as One of Ontario's Best Fire Halls
Vaughan Fire and Rescue Service Station 7-10 continues to make a positive impact on the community.
A photo of the fire station, taken by a local firefighter, Stephen Rollich, was one of four winning entries in a recent photo contest showcasing Ontario’s best fire halls. As a result, a $500 donation will be made to Muscular Dystrophy Canada in the name of Fire Station 7-10 on behalf of MasonryWorx, the Concord-based company which held the contest.
Fire Station 7-10 received LEED gold certification from the Canada Green Building Council this year. LEED – Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design – is a rating system of green building requirements.
The fire station opened in 2012 and serves the northeast area of the City.
Vaughan Fire Station 7-10 is located at 10800 Dufferin St. just north of Teston Road.
