City of Vaughan
Two-day event geared to local realtors, developers and planners

The City of Vaughan continues to champion businesses and entrepreneurs during the COVID-19 pandemic. In partnership with the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce, the City is hosting a two-day online real estate conference on Thursday, Nov. 12 and Friday, Nov. 13 for realtors, developers, planners and local business owners in Vaughan.

The Virtual Real Estate Conference will provide an opportunity for attendees to hear from and engage in meaningful discussion about the impact of COVID-19 on Vaughan’s housing and development market. This event will benefit the local business community and real estate professionals that are assisting their clients with their location needs. The conference will feature City staff as guest speakers highlighting key City initiatives that are underway. Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua will deliver opening remarks.

Some of the programing this year includes discussions on the City’s comprehensive city-wide review of the Zoning By-law, which regulates land use and development standards, and the launch of the new digital and interactive Vacant Employment Land Directory.

Events like the Virtual Real Estate Conference showcase Vaughan as a gateway to economic activity in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario and Canada and highlight the city’s entrepreneurial spirit as outlined in the 2018-2022 Term of Council Service Excellence Strategic Plan.
