Vaughan launches new wildlife response service
Call the City to help sick and injured wild animals
The City of Vaughan has expanded its animal services to include an in-house response for sick or injured wild animals. Beginning today, animal control officers will be available to attend to calls 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week.
Existing animal services for domestic dogs and cats also will be enhanced with expanded hours of operation. Healthy wild animals that cause a nuisance are not covered under this service. For more information about animal services, please call Access Vaughan at 905-832-2281.
