Vaughan Offers Online Alert for Sports Field Closures

The City of Vaughan is offering residents a new way to find out if a sports field has been closed. The City has created a sports field alert that will allow anyone who signs up for it to receive electronic notifications about sports field closures.
To receive the new alert, residents and members of local sports organizations must sign up on the City of Vaughan website and create a profile. This will allow users to choose the sports field alert and any other information and publications they wish to receive from the City.
Vaughan offers a number of eNewsletters and alerts that provide residents with the latest information from the City. These include an election alert that offers updates on the 2014 municipal elections and an emergency alert that provides residents with important information during an emergency.
