Vaughan Volunteer Recognition Awards

In support and celebration of National Volunteer Week, April 21-27, the City is inviting non-profit organizations and community groups to nominate their most outstanding volunteer of 2012 for a City of Vaughan Volunteer Recognition Award. The nomination deadline is Friday, March 15.
Nominations will be accepted for two age groups: Youth volunteers for individuals between the ages of 13 to 24, and adult volunteers for individuals aged 25 years and older. The Mayor and Members of Council will recognize the actions and efforts of these volunteers during an official ceremony held at City Hall on Wednesday, April 24.
National Volunteer Week pays tribute to the millions of Canadian volunteers who donate their time and energy.
