Vaughan’s 2025 Waste Collection Schedule is available online!
Drumroll, please! It’s that time of year when the City of Vaughan’s 2025 Waste Collection Schedule is released!
Visit vaughan.ca/WasteCalendar to view or download the full digital schedule. There, you will also find personalized calendars for your neighbourhood as well as high-contrast versions for easy readability for all.
Your hard-copy 2025 Waste Collection Schedule will be mailed to your home once the current Canada Post labour disruption ends. The City does not have any control over Canada Post deliveries.
Don’t want to wait? You can pick up a hard-copy of the schedule at Vaughan City Hall (2141 Major Mackenzie Dr.) and all community centres, while supplies last.
What’s inside the 2025 Waste Collection Schedule?
This new and colourful schedule provides a year of waste collection services at a glance. It’s made to easily fold and keep handy or post on your refrigerator or garage wall!
Included you’ll find Vaughan’s 2025 blue zone and yellow zone collection schedules and information about our waste services, diversion programs and best practices. It also details leaf and yard waste collection, Double-Up Days and Christmas tree collection.
Additionally, you can use the schedule to learn how to purchase new garbage tags, blue boxes and green bins, and how to schedule a free City waste bin exchange. And if you can’t remember the correct bins and bags for your waste materials, it’s all covered in the schedule, including the weight and size restrictions accepted curbside.
To further champion the City’s long-standing commitment to waste reduction, the schedule includes information on the 2025 Curbside Giveaway Days, Vaughan’s textile donation bins and the Recycle Coach app, which encourage recycling, reusing and building a stronger and more sustainable city.
Fun fact: the 2025 Waste Collection Schedule is made from 100 per cent recycled material!
