Baby Shark headlines the City of Vaughan’s annual Winterfest
Shake off those winter blues! Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua and Members of Council invite the community to bundle up and join the 31st annual Vaughan Celebrates Winterfest event. The award-winning winter festival returns on Sunday, Feb. 9 to Vellore Village Community Centre (1 Villa Royale Ave.). Family-friendly entertainment and attractions – including a headlining live performance from the international phenomenon Pinkfong & Baby Shark – will take place from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The award-winning winter festival returns on Sunday, Feb. 9 to Vellore Village Community Centre (1 Villa Royale Ave.). Family-friendly entertainment and attractions – including a headlining live performance from the international phenomenon Pinkfong & Baby Shark – will take place from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The
festival features an outdoor stage with live entertainment, meet and greets
with popular characters, midway rides and inflatables, horse-drawn wagon rides,
maple taffy station, indoor and outdoor interactive activities and an official
welcome from Mayor Bevilacqua and Members of Council. Stage entertainment is
hosted by YTV The ZONE’s Spencer and Duhin. Admission, activities and a pancake
breakfast served at 10 a.m. are free for all who attend. Food will be available
for purchase in the Food Zone. The 2020 Winterfest event is presented by TD and
the event sponsor is Tim Hortons.

Parking:
- Park and shuttle: Parking is available at Vaughan City Hall, 2141 Major Mackenzie Dr., or at Emily Carr Secondary School, 4901 Rutherford Rd. A free shuttle bus service will be provided by TOK Coachlines and will run to and from the event site between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
- Park and walk: Visitors can also park and walk from Fossil Hill Public School, 2 Firenza Rd., or St. Veronica Catholic Elementary School, 171 Maria Antonia Rd.
- Accessible parking: Accessible parking is available at St. Jean de Brebeuf Catholic High School at 2 Davos Rd.

in 1989, Vaughan Celebrates Winterfest has grown to become a popular and much-anticipated
