Vaughan’s Deputy City Manager of Planning and Growth Management named Chief Executive Officer of the TRCA

Mr. MacKenzie joined the City in June 2011 as Commissioner of Planning and in September 2015 was appointed to the role of Deputy City Manager of Planning and Growth Management. He has been influential in guiding Vaughan’s transformational growth and development as a key contributor to many city-building projects.

Mr. MacKenzie also realigned departments, and promoted and hired staff to fill key positions in order to better serve citizens and stakeholders.
