Tune in on Feb. 7 at 2 p.m. for family-friendly entertainment, including headliner Tyler Shaw

Every year, Vaughan citizens come together in February to enjoy the City’s award-winning Winterfest event. The festivities will continue in 2021 – when the City takes the celebration virtual for the first time. This will allow Vaughan residents and those beyond our borders to mark this popular and much-anticipated event safely from the comfort of their homes.

The community is invited to tune in and take part virtually in the 32nd annual Vaughan Celebrates Winterfest presented by TD and event sponsor Tim Hortons on Sunday, Feb. 7 at 2 p.m. at vaughan.ca/winterfest.

This free family-friendly event will be emceed by YTV’s Duhin and Spencer and will feature performances from Tyler Shaw, Roberta Battaglia, Doo Doo the Clown, Zero Gravity Circus, The Magen Boys, TEAM T&J as well as an interactive science demo by Mad Science, hands-on activities and dance fit performances by Recreation Services, and an official welcome with Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua and Members of Council.

Also, throughout the event, videos submitted by the community will be shown to highlight some of their favourite winter activities.

Founded in 1990, Vaughan Celebrates Winterfest has grown to become an important and highly-regarded City of Vaughan tradition. Moving the event online is the latest in a series of measures taken by the City to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
