recreation program instructor at Vaughan community centres
Do you have a creative or culinary skill or are you a master at
chess? Maybe you are a wellness guru or like to dance? The City of Vaughan’s
Recreation Services department is looking to hire part-time program instructors
and skate attendants for its fall recreation programs at Vaughan community
centres, starting Saturday, Sept. 18.
Programs and
specialties looking to be filled include:
- Ballet and ballroom dancing
- Chess
- Cooking
- Cricket
- Multimedia art
- Photography
- Preschool
- Qigong
- Skating (instruction and recreational)
- STEM
- Tai Chi
- Youth room supervision
To work with the City
as a part-time program instructor, you must:
- be eligible to work in Canada.
- be 16 years of age or older.
- have a Social Insurance Number.
- complete and pass a Standard First Aid and CPR-C training.
- have a Police Vulnerable Sector Check.
- provide specialty certifications where required.
- have received first and second doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine.
