What park amenities are open for the season …

Enjoy fitness stations, playgrounds and sports fields with more to open soon!

The time we’ve all been waiting for is here – to get outdoors and enjoy Vaughan’s parks, trails and sports fields! Many of the City of Vaughan’s park amenities are now open for the season, with more reopening very soon.

Amenities that are open year-round daily from 8:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. include:

• Benches, gazebos and picnic tables
• Off-leash dog parks
• Pathways and trails

Seasonal amenities that are open now daily from 8:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., weather permitting, include:

• Basketball courts
• Bocce courts
• Outdoor fitness stations
• Parking lot gates
• Playgrounds
• Skateboard parks
• Synthetic soccer fields
• Tennis courts

Seasonal amenities that will open in early May, weather permitting, include:

• Baseball diamonds
• Natural soccer fields
• Splashpads (on weekends only beginning Monday, May 22)
• Volleyball courts
• Washrooms (as of Monday, May 1)

Starting on Saturday, July 1, splashpads will be open daily for the summer.

Please note, all openings are subject to weather and surface conditions.
