World’s largest angel investor network lands in Vaughan
Vaughan International Commercialization Centre gets major boost from Keiretsu Forum that will drive investment, bolster local business
Keiretsu Forum, the world’s largest angel network has become a member of the Vaughan International Commercialization Centre (VICC), making Vaughan the fourth chapter in central Canada, and one of 40 Keiretsu Forum chapters across the globe.
The angel investors that make up the network are affluent individuals who provide capital for business startups. With more than 2,000 accredited investor members in 12 countries on three continents, Keiretsu Forum is the world’s largest invite-only angel investor network. Members provide capital in the range of $500,000 to $6 million to high-quality, diverse investment opportunities.
The partnership with Keiretsu Forum is a major step forward in the development of the VICC, which works with more than 100 local and international companies, institutions and not-for-profit organizations. VICC programs and services support established businesses with the localization of international technologies to commercialize new, innovative products in addition to assisting local companies with the expertise required to modify or adapt their products for international export.
